Mount Roraima

The incredible top of Mount Roraima, the 1.8 million year old sandstone plateau. It is also called Roraima Tepui or Cerro Roraima. The geological marvel is one of the oldest formations on Earth, a natural border between Venezuela, Brazil and Guyana in South America. The mountain is part of Venezuela's Canaima National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Angel Falls is also part of this beautiful park. Roraima's highest point is Maverick Rock at 2,810 meters (9,219 feet). For nature and landscape lovers, Mount Roraima is said to have some of the most fascinating hiking trails in the world.

Why are there no dinosaurs on this plateau? Have they read no fiction at all?

Because homeless people can't afford property tax or house payments. I'm sorry but I really would rather a house be empty than just given away. It does need to be paid for by someone.

Are you fucking serious
I wanna see you be homeless and then tell me that empty houses should stay empty

BOOOOOOOOO, fuck that guy. When you were putting your head up your ass to type that did it occur to you that empty houses don't generate any fucking revenue either? Property taxes and home payments ain't getting made if the house is empty. fuck you so hard dude

Do we not take in to account that many of these homes are potential income makers for the owners? I'm sure these statistics are based off of homes for rent also, that if given to a homeless person to use, lose the potential income gained from either renting it or leaving it vacant. Because a homeless person cannot afford that bills or property taxes to begin with, the owner is losing income. Giving these homes away would result in an overall decrease of income for more people than it benefits, in plain terms. I'm not looking at this from any other viewpoint than economical though. I'm not saying that homeless people don't deserve homes, just that they don't deserve homes paid for by other people.

In other words: Wealth > Homelessness

Who gives a fuck about the owners? They're the one's contributing the most to homelessness by hoarding property for the purpose of profit. We could literally abolish homelessness if it wasn't for them and the capitalist system that values private property over human lives.

I found one of those empty houses

ichthyologist: Monarch Butterfly Migration In North America,...

ichthyologist:

Monarch Butterfly Migration

In North America, monarch butterflies make yearly migrations to warmer southern regions during winter, returning to the north during spring. No individual butterfly survives long enough to make the full trip.

The average lifespan for summer-born butterflies is less than two months, which is not long enough to make the lengthy journey to overwintering locations in Mexico and California. However, the last generation of summer enters a non-reproductive state known as diapause. In this state, individuals can live for more than 7 months.

During diapause, the butterflies migrate to warm southern regions, in order to avoiding the freezing northern winter. They have been known to cover entire trees completely while hibernating. Once winter is over, diapause ends and the fertile butterflies return back on a spring migration.

On their way back north, the now exhausted butterflies lay their eggs and die. These eggs hatch and mature, and continue the journey. It takes up to four generations of monarchs to make it back to their original location.
